Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

Your trust matters to us. This policy explains what information Life In Ovation collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We follow Canadian privacy principles, including PIPEDA, and apply equivalent care across all provinces.

1. Information we collect

  • Information you provide: name, email, phone, province, language preference, relationship to the honoree, and the details you share through our consultation form, Family Portal, or any other communication.
  • Family materials: stories, photos, videos, and documents you choose to share with us to create your experience.
  • Account data: if you create a Family Portal account, your authentication identifier and any profile details you add.
  • Usage data: standard technical information such as device, browser, and pages visited, used to keep the site secure and improve it.

2. How we use information

  • To respond to your consultation request and arrange a private conversation.
  • To plan, produce, and deliver the experience you have commissioned.
  • To send confirmations, scheduling messages, and important updates about your project.
  • To improve the quality, accessibility, and security of our services.

3. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with carefully chosen service providers (for example, secure cloud hosting and email delivery) who help us operate the site and deliver your experience, and only as needed for that purpose. We may disclose information if required by law.

4. Security

We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. Access to family content is limited to the team members directly involved in your project.

5. Retention

We keep your information only as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. Family materials are retained according to the agreement made with you.

6. Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may unsubscribe from communications at any time. Contact hello@lifeinovation.com and we will respond promptly.

7. Children

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children without a parent or guardian's consent.
